The works emerged during a period of studio work on the upper floors of a high-rise building, where the position between city and sky created a particular spatial awareness. From this vantage point, the surrounding metropolis and the atmospheric horizon formed a field of contemplation that shaped the paintings’ sense of scale, gravity, and restraint.

 

Rather than depicting the city directly, the works translate this suspended perspective into a vertical structure where urban density, atmospheric space, and inner concentration converge.
