Presented in Shenzhen, a city defined by technological acceleration and cultural dynamism, Perceptual Fields positioned Konnyu’s work within a context of transformation and perceptual intensity.

At the core of the exhibition were large-scale abstract paintings, articulating a practice grounded in gesture, material process, and structural balance. A digital component was introduced as a parallel extension, reinforcing rather than defining the exhibition’s central focus on painting.

Rather than functioning as fixed images, the works operate as dynamic fields, registering the interplay between internal impulse and material presence.
