In 2025 autumn, I’m relocating to Asia for an extended creative break, part reset, part research. I’ll be based in Hong Kong, surrounded by mountains, temples, and stillness.

It’s a step back from the commercial cycle. No exhibitions. No deadlines. Just space for reflection, for silence, for painting. Presence is the point.

Eastern philosophy has long shaped my work, especially Taoist art and abstraction rooted in gesture. This move deepens that thread. The brushstroke becomes not just mark-making, but a way of being.

I’ll be working daily, guided less by outcome, more by process. Breath, work, brushstroke. That’s the rhythm now.

If you’re nearby and want to connect (as a collector, curator, artist, or Taoist), get in touch.
